You are the ONLY one responsible for decisions related to your pet's health. Universo Pet is NOT responsible for: • Health damage to the animal caused by following Dr. Paws guidance without veterinary validation • Treatment delays from relying solely on Dr. Paws • Incorrect or incomplete diagnoses • Complications from self-medication IF IN DOUBT, ALWAYS CONSULT AN IN-PERSON VETERINARIAN.

The Guided Physical Exam feature guides the owner to check eyes, ears, mouth, skin, paws, and abdomen of the pet at home. This feature: ⚠️ Does NOT replace physical exam performed by an in-person veterinarian ⚠️ Does NOT detect internal problems (cardiac, hepatic, renal, etc.) ⚠️ Does NOT replace laboratory tests (blood, urine, feces, imaging) ✅ It serves to: Help the owner identify visible signs that deserve veterinary attention, educate about basic pet anatomy, and create visual records to share with the veterinarian. The owner is solely responsible for taking the pet to the veterinarian when any abnormality is identified.

The Smart Triage (traffic light 🟢🟡🔴) classifies urgency at the end of each consultation. This classification: ⚠️ Is GUIDANCE, not a definitive diagnosis ⚠️ Can be wrong - the model analyzes patterns, but does not replace clinical evaluation ⚠️ 🟢 GREEN does not mean "healthy" - it only means that, based on the information provided, it does not seem urgent ⚠️ 🔴 RED is an urgency suggestion - but you know your pet better than any AI When in doubt, regardless of the traffic light color, consult an in-person veterinarian. Universo Pet is NOT responsible for damages resulting from exclusive reliance on automatic triage.

The Home Care Checklist automatically generates home care tasks after consultations classified as 🟢 GREEN or 🟡 YELLOW. About this feature: ⚠️ Tasks are educational suggestions, not medical prescriptions ⚠️ Not following the tasks does NOT constitute negligence - use your judgment ⚠️ The checklist does NOT monitor the actual condition of the pet - it only reminds of tasks ⚠️ If the pet's condition worsens, ignore the checklist and seek a veterinarian IMMEDIATELY The owner is solely responsible for: • Evaluating if the tasks make sense for their specific pet • Adapting the guidelines as needed • Seeking a veterinarian if the listed warning signs appear Universo Pet is NOT responsible for complications resulting from following or not following the checklist tasks.

The Health Score (score from 0 to 100) is automatically calculated based on vaccines, deworming, medications, and history. This indicator: ⚠️ Is an APPROXIMATE indicator, not a health diagnosis ⚠️ High score does NOT mean healthy pet - it only means records are up to date ⚠️ Low score does NOT mean sick pet - may only indicate outdated records ⚠️ Does NOT replace regular veterinary check-ups The Health Score is an organization tool, not a health exam. Universo Pet is NOT responsible for health decisions based exclusively on the Health Score.

• Accuracy: Information may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. • Completeness: Content may be incomplete or not cover all scenarios. • Availability: The Platform may be offline due to maintenance, technical failures, or other reasons. • Security: Although we implement rigorous security measures, no system is 100% attack-proof. • Results: We do not guarantee specific results when using our services (e.g., behavior improvement, reminder accuracy).

We may display or allow access to third-party content (links, articles, ads). We do not review, approve, or endorse such content. You access it at your own risk.

• Lost profits • Data loss • Loss of business opportunities • Reputation damage • Moral damages (except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence)

In case of direct damages provenly caused by our failure, our liability will be limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months of subscription, or R$ 100.00 (one hundred reais), whichever is less. Exceptions: This limitation does NOT apply to: • Damages caused by intent or gross negligence • Consumer rights guaranteed by the Consumer Defense Code (Law 8.078/90) • Personal data violations caused by negligence (LGPD liability)

We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control: • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires) • Wars, acts of terrorism, pandemics • Internet, electrical, or third-party infrastructure failures (Firebase, Stripe) • Large-scale cyber attacks (massive DDoS) • Legislative changes that prevent our operation

You declare and warrant that: • You own all rights to the content submitted • Your content does NOT violate copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets of third parties • Your content is NOT defamatory, obscene, offensive, violent, or illegal • You obtained consent from third parties depicted in photos/videos

We reserve the right to: • Remove content that violates our Terms of Service • Suspend or ban users who publish inappropriate content • Cooperate with authorities in investigations of illegal activities We are NOT responsible for third-party content published on the Platform. We are merely intermediaries (Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework, Law 12.965/14, Art. 19).

• Registered data: All health information (vaccines, medications, surgeries) is entered by the owner. We do not validate the accuracy of this data. • Automatic reminders: Reminders are based on the dates provided. We are not responsible for incorrect reminders due to outdated data. • Medical decisions: The owner is solely responsible for decisions related to the pet's health. Always consult a veterinarian. • History: Health history is for personal reference only and does NOT replace official veterinary medical records.

We strongly recommend that you: ✅ Keep health data always updated ✅ Regularly consult an in-person veterinarian ✅ Use reminders as an aid, not as the only reference ✅ Keep physical copies of vaccination cards ✅ Take your pet to the veterinarian annually for check-ups ✅ Do not self-medicate your pet based solely on platform information

We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that results in temporary unavailability. Whenever possible, we will notify in advance. You will NOT be entitled to proportional refunds for unavailability periods of less than 24 consecutive hours.

We reserve the right to discontinue specific features (e.g., replace Dr. Paws model, remove integrations) at any time, as long as we maintain core services (Dr. Paws consultations, pet management, health management). If we discontinue a significant paid service, you will be entitled to: • Proportional refund (if applicable) • 30 days advance notice (except for urgent security or legal reasons)
